For the past 42 years nearly one million visitors from across the world descend onto Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta Park for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is the largest ballooning event and is also most photographed event in the world. The event is a world renowned attraction for people of all ages because, well it’s cool to see hundreds of balloons take flight and float into the air.

There are also a number of other events that compose Balloon Fiesta week including, laser light shows, a music festival and the popular afterglow.

There is no better way to see the amazing New Mexico landscape than from a hot air balloon but if you can’t jump in a basket and float upwards, attending the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is the next best thing.
