Another State Joins New Mexico in recognizing Same-Sex Marriage

Gay Pride Flag

A judge in Montana lifted the state’s same-sex marriage ban, thus making Montana the 34th state in the nation to recognize gay marriage.

New Mexico has recognized gay marriage for almost a year now and Santa Fe is in the middle of gay pride for the state. On December 19th, 2013, The New Mexico Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriage legal statewide. Since the ruling, there have been a number of wonderful gay marriage stories. When states rule in favor of same-sex marriage, it is a win for gays everywhere.

Santa Fe has a wonderful, open and happening gay community. Click here to read a story about a couple that decided to get married and call it home.
